Start with the actual labour dispute
A promise alone does not end a strike call in Geoplanetical. Open Labour relations → Disputes, select the demand and inspect the workers involved. The documented route is to negotiate with the representatives, then carry any accepted measure into effect.
Striking workers reduce available labour in the affected sectors and public services. Use View disruption to inspect the movement and its effects before deciding how to respond.
Compare a compromise with meeting the demand
Choose Negotiate to meet the representatives in Cablegram. Pick an available measure, then compare Offer a compromise with Meet the demand.
Read the current rule, the union's demand and your proposed change together. When an annual cost is displayed, check it alongside each union's response. A proposal that one representative accepts does not establish that every demand in the wider dispute has been resolved.
Select Present proposal when the offer is ready. Keep track of what you have promised, because recording an agreement and implementing the policy are different steps.
Implement the budget or legal change
For a budget measure, review the shared budget proposal and apply it. For a legal measure, use Open legislation and follow the relevant procedure.
This is the step to check when a settlement appears recorded but the strike continues. The official instructions distinguish an agreement awaiting implementation from one that has been carried through. They also warn that other demands can remain unresolved.
Return to the dispute and check the result
Reopen the dispute to follow implementation and disruption. Check the actual demand and status instead of assuming every strike responds to the same concession or ends immediately after a conversation.
